Wonderful Wicks has represented Prairie Candle Co. since 1998. Wonderful Wicks began holding “home hosting parties” as a way to introduce the relatively new premium scented candle. They became tremendously popular for their powerful ability to “throw” a favorite fragrance, filling a room with our customers’ scent of choice. Prairie Candle Co. saw a need for a high quality, extraordinarily scented candle that was reasonably priced so people could buy a premium candle and enjoy their favorite fragrance for the entire life of the candle, not just a portion of it.

It did not take long until the demand for and reputation of Prairie Candles grew to encompass the nation. Wonderful Wicks began growing alongside Prairie Candle Co. giving the consumer an excellent value. As the enjoyment of candles gained popularity over the years, we began receiving calls to appeal to another audience….fundraising. Finally, there was a product to be sold by organizations that genuinely gave the consumer something of value (a full retail size candle) while also allowing for the seller, whether it is boy scouts, school bands, sports programs, individuals, etc., to also earn significant revenue towards their particular goals.

Success breeds success, and a successful team was formed between Wonderful Wicks, Prairie Candle Co., and the fundraiser organization. Wonderful Wicks representation of Prairie Candles primarily took on a lead fundraising role for advice and partnership with various clubs, teams, non-profit and for-profit organizations so they can perform their important functions and reach their goals for the people involved.
